The ASCII Conversion feature is used to convert the HEX to ASCII values for EPC Memory Bank. So that it's easy for the human readable if we store any valid ASCII data to the EPC memory bank in hexadecimal format.

Please follow the below mentioned steps to Enable the ASCII Conversion
• Open TagMatiks Wedge and login into it.
• Tap on the upper left corner of the screen and select application configuration.
• Tap on the Advanced Menu.
• In the Advanced menu, Enable the ASCII Conversion and tap on save button to save the changes you have made.
• An acknowledgement will appear stating Configuration Saved Successfully.
The system will read the EPC memory bank and automatically convert the hexadecimal EPC value to ASCII value when the ASCII configuration is enabled under the Advanced section.

When ASCII Conversion is enabled, the EPC (ascii) appears in the system fields as shown in the image below.
When ASCII Conversion is enabled, the EPC (ascii) values appear in Tag Details as shown in the image below.
When ASCII Conversion is enabled, the EPC (ascii) appears in Select System Fields as shown in the image below.
When ASCII Conversion is enabled, the EPC (ascii) appears in Inventory view Configuration as shown in the image below.
When ASCII Conversion is enabled, the EPC (ascii) appears in Header Mapping as shown in the image below.
Please follow the below mentioned steps to Disable the ASCII Conversion
• Open TagMatiks Wedge and login into it.
• Tap on the upper left corner of the screen and select application configuration.
• Tap on the Advanced Menu.
• In the Advanced menu, Disable the ASCII Conversion and tap on save button to save the changes you have made
• An acknowledgement will appear stating Configuration Saved Successfully.
Note:The ASCII Conversion will not be displayed anywhere if it is disabled, and it will also reset your existing reference file detail if we selected the EPC(ascii) in the header mapping.
